The following Republican Senators plan to have lunch with Donald Trump at the White House today.
We should keep a close eye on them:
Dr. Fiona Hill chilled the blood of every complicit Republican with this devastating foreshadowing:
“Putin & Russian security services act like a Super PAC(!) They deploy millions of dollars to weaponize political opposition research & false narratives.”👇🏼
#FionaHill nailed it
The guy who was fined 25 Million Dollars for operating a FRAUDULENT university and fined 2 Million Dollars more for STEALING money raised for a kids cancer charity was very concerned about corruption in Ukraine.
The #TrumpCrimeFamily is not at all concerned about #corruption, certainly not about fixing it They are very concerned about getting CAUGHT #NunesNonsense had some of his opening statement right but not the names It’s not Dems who were caught, it’s #TrumpCrimeSyndicate
There’s a lot of things we can say about John Bolton, but he’s not known as a coward. Allowing professionals who worked under him to face consequences, glare and repercussions to their careers of testifying in front of Congress, while he sells a book and hides, would be cowardly.
#Bolton must step up He must be a profile in courage or his name will be spoken in shame only Selling books can’t be worth selling your country out #Silence is complicity in the face of treason as well as sexual predatory behaviors #GymJordan should know
Mike Pompeo is planning to resign because Trump is ‘hurting his reputation’
He wants to jump off the sinking ship & act like nothing happened
No buddy, you are complicit in enabling this disgrace to ruin the US & it won't be forgotten
Anyone else agree?
What reputation? As a #corrupt politician who went to work for the corrupt #TrumpCrimeFamily and who helped degrade and demoralize long-standing #diplomacy , career DOS professionals as well as undermine US security around the globe? #ImpeachTrumpPenceBarrPompeo
Tensions spike after GOP Sen. Joni Ernst blocks vote on House-passed Violence Against Women Act reauthorization
Republicans complaining that the Dems aren’t getting their job done due to the #ImpeachingHearings aren’t paying attention.
#MoscowMitch needs to check his inbox and blow off the dust for the 275 bills passed by the Dems this year. 💨💨
Let’s judge Trump’s conduct by his words and deeds:
Recalls Ambassador Yovanovitch, after she’s falsely smeared.
Praises Ukraine’s corrupt former prosecutor.
Asks Ukraine to investigate his rival.
Holds up aid until it does.
That’s not anti-corruption.
Both of these hashtags are trending today:
Some may ask why. His questioning is stupid. His attempt at jokes mixed with conspiracy theories are stupid. His expressions are weird. He defends a criminal sexual predator. He’s suing a cow.
Mulvaney was complicit.
Pence knew and was playing dumb (again).
Pompeo is a disgrace, allowing State Department professionals to be undermined and maligned.
Rudy is a whack-a-doodle running a shadow foreign policy operation for his own profit.
And don’t forget Perry. Oops!
Most #CorruptGOP in history
A reminder: None of these hearings would have happened if organizers, volunteers, and voters hadn't worked together to win back the House majority for Democrats last year.
Let's keep working together in 2020 to hold power to account.
#BlueWave Make it a tsunami 2020
.@JAHimes eviscerates the GOP claim that Trump was just being prudent in withholding aid:
HIMES: "That's not just wrong, it's illegal...Under our Constitution it's the Congress, not the president, that controls the power of the purse, correct?"
COOPER: "Yes, sir."
This all comes back to President Donald J. Trump.
He is the one who prevented the White House meeting. He is the one who withheld the military assistance. He is the one who asked Ukraine's President to investigate his opponent.
He is the one who violated his oath.
